As far as tank mates, in the beginning they did consume a single of each variety of the other fish in the tank, after that they only consume the ones that get old or look to be dieing. The Starburst fish I have are now on the second round of babies born in the tank with the puffers. The modest ones constantly swim in circles around the puffers and are ignored. Maybe I just got fortunate with mine, they are healthful and pleased.
Re-homing fee: Am having to component with my brindle American Bulldog. He is four years old, neutered, and well-trained. If you can’t spend the charge then don’t respond. He is NOT FOR SALE. Promoting an animal is insulting. The charge is to guarantee that he finds a suitable owner. He is to be fed Alpo every other day, and my own recipe for house-made food on alternate days. I will give you a copy of his feeding needs.
In Conclusion i would like to say that there is no animal that a individual can preserve that demands absolutely zero maintenance. Furthermore, it is inappropriate to think about keeping ANY pet if you are unwilling or unable to devote time with it. Any animal, reptile, or insect kept as a pet, should be cared for at least once a day, a very good rule of thumb is to try to invest an hour a day with your pet, if you are unable to do this, I advocate not keeping a pet.
Birds in cages have been one more occasional kind of pets. Exotic birds (like parrots) were unknown in the Middle Ages, but magpies were reputed to be in a position to find out human speech.
